without the merit of relying on it, you will not be able to succeed in practicing this way. if you want to practice meditation, you must prepare the merit first and prepare it first. this is the convenience before practicing taoism. if you want to be sure, you must have a place first! but it is not possible to be in trouble in this place, there must be a place.

someone needs to protect him. you need to have a guardian! if you want to practice meditation, you will be in seclusion. if you lock you up in the house, someone will have to give you food. you are in seclusion, you are pure and have food, clothing, housing and transportation. don’t worry, you have to be taken care of. only in this way can you stop having any thoughts, not interfere with chores, not think randomly in your mind, and let go of all the mess. this is the resource for practicing the way.

there is also a method. what is more important is the merit of the dharma. if you want to practice meditation, you must first practice the four preliminary practices. to practice any method, you must first practice the preliminary practice method. the preliminary practice means that you must practice concentration before you attain enlightenment, or the four meditations and eight concentrations, or the great concentration of the lankavatara. if you have received the precepts, look back and see that you cannot even purify the five precepts and three return points, let alone the bhikkhu precepts and nun precepts. even if you do not violate the fundamental precepts, you will commit any mistakes in your meticulous actions. have you confessed? is repentance pure? before practicing meditation, you must first practice the method of repentance, otherwise you will not be able to practice meditation and will be harmful.

you must also eliminate karma and stop all karma.

if there is no merit, the place will be unclean and the interference will be very serious. if no one takes care of you, you will have delusions in your heart. you must not refuse! if you have delusions, how should you practice meditation? you can't have any delusions in your heart! the relationship between the environment and the environment of meditation, then you have to be prepared. you are not ready! it is impossible to achieve meditation. if you are hungry, can you practice taoism? i didn’t have another meal after eating this meal, don’t i think about it? you also have to fetch water yourself, cook the pot yourself, and cook your own food. how do you have to repair it? this is an objective environment.

when you sit quietly, you don’t think about anything after you calm down, and you don’t think about food, clothing, housing and transportation. calm your mind, this is the first one. find a quiet place, be at ease and without interference, this is not just a place to live in the mountains and forests! when the buddha said that when the monks lived in the mountains and forests and practiced the tao, if they did not have concentration, they would go to the mountains and forests. you would be terrified, and you would not be able to practice! in addition to the horror of wild beasts, there are many horrors.

our past ancestors, based on his experience in practicing taoism, said that they would not be able to live in the mountains without breaking the ground. when you have not broken through the ginseng or realized your mind and nature, you cannot live in the mountains. that mountain refers to a thatched hut, a place without people. it is not the big temple in our mountain, but it is like that. the mountains and forests are quiet. the interference in the mountains and forests is very powerful, with wild animals, and such interference, which makes your decision not possible.

if you want to cultivate concentration, you must be pure in the precepts! if you break the precepts, the root of the precepts will be impure, and the three karmas of body, speech and mind will not be impure. if the three karma are not pure, you will have hot and annoyance. when you practice, you will have troubles. if you break the precepts, what you do break the rules. breaking the precepts means doing evil deeds. can you still have to settle down? doing evil deeds cannot be determined. what to do? repent that karma! how do you prove that i have purified my repentance? we have to meet each other. "zhancha chan chan" tells us that if you can see good things or ksitigarbha bodhisattva, all your sins will be purified!thisthere is more than one karma, but also the mind karma.

what does quit mean? to prevent evil and stop evil, to protect you, to break the precepts, to break the precepts, and to lose the protection, that is called doing evil deeds. it is impossible to practice meditation for those who do evil deeds.

we see that the great masters of the past have attained samadhi after entering samadhi. can they still break the precepts after entering samadhi? he had not violated the precepts before, but now he can enter into meditation. the precepts are very subtle, not just talking about precepts, but mainly the mind. because when you practice meditation, you must practice with your heart. first, purify your mind and have no worries. only if you have any worries, you can't continue to be calm if you have worries. if there is a polluted mind and a chaotic mind, how can we achieve concentration?
