我们普通有情的娱乐往往都是消耗性的,主要依止的是无明、贪嗔痴慢疑。我们每次吃喝玩乐之后常常感到疲累,我们在作为过程中花太多心力去选择、徘徊、纠结,无明与迷失一直伴随其中,必然会有疲惫负累。有智慧的圣者他们的娱乐是无消耗性的,主要依止的是愿力、智慧,愿力与智慧是顺性的,是无增减的,所以作为自然是增上的、自利利他的。所以,我们普通有情与圣者娱乐的区别,主要是依止的缘起不同,其结果必然不同。
The entertainment of ordinary people is always consumptive since we are mainly driven by ignorance, desire, anger, delusion, pride and doubt. Every time after beers and skittles, we often feel tired. In this process, we spend too much energy in choosing, hesitating and struggling. Always accompanied by ignorance and lost, we will definitely feel tired and burdened. For those enlightened ones, however, their entertainment is not consumptive, because they primarily rely on their great vows and wisdom, which comply with the Buddha-nature and never change. As a result, their activities will naturally benefit both themselves and other beings. Thus the main difference between ordinary people and the enlightened ones in entertainment are the original motivations, which will no doubt leads to different consequences.
那我们普通有情如何能依止果地觉来善用菩萨自利利他行呢?作意就是实质性地对我们生活支持的一个方法,而且这个支持不是表相的。作意要有一个清晰的依止,要把这个依止凸显岀来。比如依止原本清净,一定在心理意识上把原本清净凸显岀来,心理意识一定要有变化才能用得上,就像一座山在平地上凸显岀来一样。作意的依止是原本清净,原本清净就是是无增减的,无消耗的,我们就能安稳地娱乐世间的一切作为。
So Here comes the question: as ordinary people how can we rely upon the ultimate enlightenment of Buddha to conduct beneficial behaviors like the enlightened ones? To train our minds intentionally is a practical method to substantially support our life and this support is not superficial. It requires us to have a clear reliance and to have it highlighted. For example, if we rely on the primordial purity, we must emphasize it at our mind level, like a mountain swelling on the plain. Only when there are changes in our mind, we can apply it. If we train our minds intentionally, relying upon the primordial purity, which is not changeable and not consumptive, we will be able to entertain every deed in the world with a settled heart.
