1. the extraordinary and infinite "ksitigarbha sutra"
i am just thirty years old and i am a mediocre person! fortunately, i was unwilling to abandon all the buddhas and bodhisattvas, and i was able to hear the dharma and listen to the buddha's teachings. however, there are also twists and turns on the road to learning buddhism. in fact, i have believed in and studied buddhism for more than two years before the ksitigarbha seven, and i have indeed benefited a lot. every time i read the mahayana sutras, i sincerely lamented the buddha's supreme wisdom. i also learned from it cause and effect, forbearance, and doing good deeds. i realized that the saha world is very painful, and impermanence is everywhere.
in the early days of studying buddhism, i recited a certain number of the "amitabha sutra". when i read it, i felt strongly, and suddenly realized the various pains of the dharma-ending age and the infinite compassion of buddhas and bodhisattvas. afterwards, after hearing the extremely extraordinary ksitigarbha dharma, he began to recite the "sutra of ksitigarbha bodhisattva's original vows" and the name of ksitigarbha bodhisattva. the response was very strong. when reciting the scriptures, his calves would occasionally become hot, and his luck would gradually improve, so he did it. there are also dreams of spitting out small insects, and their wealth will be significantly improved, etc.
not long after, i came into contact with the medicine buddha's dharma and lamented the twelve supreme compassion vows made by the medicine buddha. and i am just a secular person and i also hope to have a healthy, rich and happy life. moreover, the "medicine buddha sutra" is short and concise, so i began to recite the "medicine buddha sutra" in large quantities, which must have been a response.
since then, the "ksitigarbha sutra" has been put aside. because the "ksitigarbha sutra" is long, i have always had the idea of ​​reciting it, but because of the deep karma, it has been delayed. later, i began to pay attention to the diamond sutra. the diamond sutra achieved the word "prajna" and every word "green" was a pearl of pearl. i recited at least a hundred pieces, and of course i will definitely gain something.
it can be said that all kinds of mahayana sutras were preached by the buddha himself. most people who study buddhism can easily change their interests. if you hear the special method, you will change it immediately. there is no problem. but if this method doesn’t feel too big or too long for a while, then i think about changing it again. all these things are undoubtedly a business attitude and an impatient mind. how can i truly practice!
after fighting dizang qi, especially after listening to the sharing of senior brother qi from nianci temple in hefei, i suddenly realized. it turns out that the treasure has always been around, but because of my greed and knowledge, i always change the theme and the theme of my practice. such an impetuous mentality does not know that it is getting farther and farther away from becoming a buddha!
before nirvana, the buddha flew to the trayastrimsa heaven to preach to his mother. at that time, all the buddhas and bodhisattvas in the ten directions came to the meeting. this was also the most popular event in the mahayana sutras. he also instructed ksitigarbha bodhisattva the important task of saving sentient beings in the saha world, which shows that ksitigarbha bodhisattva has special causes and conditions for the strong sentient beings in our saha world. moreover, from the countless celestial dragons, ghosts and gods attending the meeting, these masters directly manage the sentient beings in our saha world. if they can receive their support, will all the difficulties in our lives continue to arise?
therefore, we who have deep sins cannot underestimate or bypass ksitigarbha’s method when practicing any method. whether we can achieve success in the future depends on whether we can sincerely take refuge in ksitigarbha bodhisattva, and practice diligently, eliminate karma and increase blessings, and realize our nature with the compassionate blessing of ksitigarbha bodhisattva. our past karma must be profound, so if we are human beings in this life, if we cannot settle the past karma well and cannot bring benefits to our destined beings, how can they not impose interference when we achieve success! master xuanhua, a great buddhist master, has always emphasized the importance of the ksitigarbha method, and his disciples who take refuge in him first asked to read the ksitigarbha sutra and repent for several repentance!
from a secular perspective, if you want to be safe at home and fulfill your wishes, just recite the "ksitigarbha sutra" with all your heart. in the "ksitigarbha sutra", the fierce earth god, the evil ghost king and the buddha personally preached the many benefits of praising and worshiping ksitigarbha bodhisattva. in this way, all our favorites are in the "dipankara sutra". other scriptures can be read less or not, and the "ksitigarbha sutra" should be recited for a lifetime, and ksitigarbha bodhisattva should also respectfully offer them for a lifetime.
among the methods of eliminating karma, the "ksitigarbha sutra" is undoubtedly the best method, and the merits it has been made are dedicated to sentient beings with destiny that they have hurt in the past, allowing them to gain real benefits, be reborn in humans and heavenly beings, and be liberated. liberation is to be liberated from ourselves. the consequences are borne by oneself, and no one is willing to replace them. then, through the ksitigarbha dharma, transforming grievances and resolving grievances, benefiting others, is the only choice to benefit oneself!
moreover, when we read the ksitigarbha sutra, we can feel the suffering of the saha world, the horror of hell, the compassion of all buddhas and bodhisattvas, and the immense filial piety of ksitigarbha bodhisattva. reciting hundreds of books is just the foundation, and reciting thousands of times and even a lifetime is a true practitioner! many eminent monks and masters have preached to us the special features of the ksitigarbha sutra, but there are not many people who truly understand it, because if we want to think about karma, sentient beings with a destiny who have deep and serious grievances from our past are unwilling to do so, and the interference will be extremely strong. therefore, it is not so easy to recite the ksitigarbha sutra smoothly. moreover, it is difficult for people who read and recite diligently every day, without great blessings, great wisdom, great perseverance, and great cause and condition!
after finishing ksitigarbha seven, i found that the ksitigarbha sutra is the most needed to recite the sutra for a long time in the dharma-ending age, and the response is the strongest. this is not only because ksitigarbha bodhisattva has the deepest relationship with us, but also because of the great vow of ksitigarbha bodhisattva. it can be said that if ordinary people in the dharma-ending age want to practice successfully, they have to bypass the ksitigarbha dharma, which is useless!
why do some people have problems with their health? why do some people still lose weight so much? but some people lose weight? why do some people lose luck and attract people to be despised? and why do many people never make the money they need no matter how hard they endure, and often lose their family wealth; in addition, why do some people always commit adultery, lying, and speaking badly, and keep trying to quit, but keep repeating it. there are certain reasons for this. simply put, it means that there is not enough blessings or that the karma is too deep. i have had countless grudges in the past or in this life, and i still want to do everything as i want. how can i do this in the universe?
after twists and turns, reflection, and reflection, i finally returned to ksitigarbha bodhisattva. it was a feeling of finding home, and it was a feeling of returning to my true nature. the compassion of ksitigarbha bodhisattva, the great vow of ksitigarbha bodhisattva, ksitigarbha bodhisattva helps us eliminate karma, helps us to correctly practice buddhism without regressing. how can such merit be fully expressed?
a "ksitigarbha sutra" covers the great filial piety of buddhism, the inimitable compassion of all buddhas and bodhisattvas, the necessary methods for practicing the dharma-ending dhamma, and the highest magic weapon in the world. but i have ignored it for so long. this is really because of my ignorance and lack of blessings! therefore, today, i carefully, carefully and gratefully told all my true feelings to all fellow practitioners, hoping to inspire you brothers, even if it is touched, my heart is enough!
2. eat vegetarian food and release animals in any way
before i had sex, i would often eat meat and think that all things are the mind. this mind has great compassion, and it is okay to eat meat occasionally, but i don’t know that it is myself deceiving myself. why do all buddhas do not eat the flesh of sentient beings? because sentient beings are originally the same as buddha, killing animals means killing buddha, and eating meat means eating the flesh and blood of buddha. in this way, what else can you say about great compassion and what else can you say about becoming a buddha? it's like a sad and foolish dream!
therefore, eating vegetarian food is a necessary condition for practice and cannot be discounted. moreover, after watching the relevant videos, i really realized that people in the dharma-ending age are really ignorant and vicious, killing everything and eating everything. if you commit evil deeds like this, you will naturally suffer from the evil and dangers of the saha world.
if eating vegetarian food is to abstain from killing karma, then releasing animals means actively repaying debts. how many sentient beings have we killed, eaten, and hurt? absolutely countless sentient beings! then releasing animals is a process of actively repentance and actively repaying debts. on the fourth day of the seventh day, i participated in a very special release because i have participated in a number of releases before. during this process, i found that animals really have buddha nature, that is, the true nature. when you release them, they are so cooperative, so grateful, and so reluctant to leave! at that moment, it was not just their buddha nature that was fully revealed, but our buddha nature was also inspired to shine brightly at that moment.
therefore, whenever you see loaches and fish gathering in groups on the water, accompanied by the melodious and profound buddhist chants, various patterns change, and they are reluctant to disperse. this is the most sincere gratitude and the most warm interaction. really, at that time, even the most ruthless people would be influenced because it could really touch the softest part of our hearts. at that moment, i was very grateful to them because they taught us buddhists the most real lesson! these small animals that are usually slaughtered and eaten by others are undoubtedly telling us the truth that the buddha preached more than 2,000 years ago - we are just different in shapes, and we are actually all a family and can be a buddha!
in the past, releasing animals was for me to seek responsiveness, wealth, and results. there are indeed many inductions, but as i practice in depth, when i really integrate into the sea of ​​wisdom of buddhism, especially when i am constantly influenced by those creatures who know how to repay kindness, my satisfaction is still a sense of emotion, but a kind of touch and happiness, and of course it is still sad. what is touched is that all sentient beings have buddha nature and should be buddhas; what is happy is that they can hear, believe in and receive the dharma in this life; what is sad is that they live in the dharma-ending world, and they can’t count the lives of the kitchen every day! the world we live in is unsafe, and there are endless negative news every day. why? but listen to the sound of the slaughtering in the middle of the night!
we have been in the six realms for a long time, and life and death will not stop. where were we when the buddha was alive? where were we when master xuanzang returned from his journey to the west? or we were just a small animal that was slaughtered and timid and fearful at that time. when we were released by a good man or a good woman because of opportunity, and therefore heard the slogan of compassion, we must have been like these small animals now, with gratitude beyond words and can only let the other party feel it through physical movements.
the names of buddhas and bodhisattvas are the seeds of tao when they are heard. therefore, the meaning and merit of releasing animals cannot be described in words! i hope more and more senior brothers can be determined to release animals and protect their lives, participate in the release of animals and protect their lives, and forward or write more articles about releasing animals and protecting their lives or promoting vegetarian food, so that more people can use the release of animals and protect their lives to get closer to buddhism and enter buddhism. it also allows more lives to stay away from the kitchen, so that they can hear the dharma early, become a buddha early, and become a new member on the bodhi path!

3. repentance and do good deeds by eliminating evil and practicing good deeds
repentance means revealing all sins committed by ignorance in the past. therefore, we must sincerely repent in front of ksitigarbha bodhisattva and all buddhas and bodhisattvas, and vow not to commit them again. this is to eliminate evil! after knowing your evil karma, you must purify your body and mind and practice all good deeds. this is doing good! cultivate good roots, plant good books, cultivate blessings and wisdom, and accumulate merits and wisdom, thereby accumulating the resources to be reborn in the western paradise. why? you must be born in that country with less blessings and causes and conditions!
the method of repentance also includes worshiping the 88 buddhas. when these 88 buddhas are in the causal realm, because of their respective vows, they can quickly eliminate all evil karma we have committed over the past few karma. combining worshiping the 88 buddhas and reading the ksitigarbha sutra, they can achieve foolproof, infinite power, and rapid and extraordinary in terms of eliminating karma. such a good practice method was really set up by all buddhas for the compassion of the dharma-ending all beings. therefore, i am very grateful to the senior brother of hefei nianci temple for giving me a deep understanding of this and decided to firmly follow it in this life without changing the topic!
speaking of this, i would like to thank senior brother wuji of hefei nianci taoist temple for guiding us to repent after repentance on the evening of october 3, and to share the importance of making great wishes. guide us to make a vow: in this life, we must practice diligently to be reborn in the western paradise, and then come back to save all sentient beings with fate that we have been born in the past lives. in this way, sentient beings with fate will be influenced by our sincere heart and will be transformed from previous bad karma into good karma. at this time, they will not only not hinder our practice, but will instead make the intention to help us quickly attain bodhi and return to the pure land together. what an important and meaningful thing!
therefore, on the evening of october 6, i specially wrote a vow article, and now i specially recorded it as follows to express my sincerity!
disciple jiang lu, a native of anqing, anhui, now made the following great vow in front of the statue of ksitigarbha bodhisattva:
i should stop evil and cultivate good, cultivate virtue, and cultivate all pure karma. i hope that when i die, my mind will not be confused or my mind will not be distracted, and i will be guided by amitabha buddha with compassion and hands, and be reborn in the western paradise. after the flowers bloom and see the buddha, i will definitely return to the saha world as soon as possible. with the power of my vows today, i will first save all sentient beings with affinity from my disciples over the years, so that you can get out of the evil path, hear the dharma, and have correct views, get rid of the suffering of reincarnation as soon as possible, and return to the pure land together. may all my destined beings can supervise, spur, support and help me. at the same time, i pray that amitabha buddha, ksitigarbha bodhisattva, and all the bodhisattvas and holy ones can accept and bless me with the power of compassion and power, so that i will not retreat from my original intention, and should diligently and achieve supreme bodhi early, and complete such great vows early!
since the beginning of time, life and death have flowed through the flow of life and death.
ignorance overturns my mind, so i have committed all evil karma.
now, before all the saints, i sincerely repent,
by creating this mind, it is also changing from this mind.
when you calm this mind, destroy all evil,
therefore, i have made a vow to be reborn in the pure land.
after the flowers bloom and see the buddha, return to the saha world.
to save enemies, relatives and creditors, and to relatives of all generations,
may all sentient beings, be kind and protect me,
i wish for this, with my current wish,
after all, save you and return to the pure land together.
4. reciting buddha to become a buddha when you return to the pure land
after making the above great vow, there is no doubt that chanting buddha’s name and becoming a buddha is my ultimate goal. only by becoming a buddha can one have the blessings and wisdom to save all sentient beings with a fate, and achieve the grand goal of driving the merciful journey and saving sentient beings.
with the forty-eight great vows that he made, amitabha buddha opened up the most extraordinary and simplest fast lane to the pure land for sentient beings in the dharma-ending age - the method of reciting the buddha's name. reciting amitabha buddha is to remember all buddhas and our buddha nature. in every thought, the buddha's light begins to remove the ignorance that has been entangled in our minds for many disasters. ignorance gradually eliminates, the buddha nature appears, corresponds to the buddha, and communicates with the path of response. in addition to the above five plots, the main karma is eliminated, and the meaning of rebirth at the end of death is inevitable.
we sentient beings in the dharma-ending age have deep obstacles and shallow wisdom and profound methods, and cannot actually learn them. why? too many delusions! for example, meditation is very good, but most people can’t stand it after sitting for ten minutes, and they can’t help but feel upset. because this mind has moved too much. therefore, all buddhas and bodhisattvas know the nature of sentient beings in the dharma-ending age and compassionately set up the method of reciting the buddha's name. as long as you have the heart, everyone can recite it. everyone can be reborn with the incredible compassionate vows of amitabha buddha. therefore, ancestors of all generations have earnestly taught us to recite the buddha's name to the end. as long as we are honest, obedient, practice and work hard, we will be able to understand our minds and see our nature and achieve the holy path!
we are all children of amitabha buddha, how can we keep in the six realms of reincarnation! let’s go home together and hurry back to amitabha’s warm embrace!
5. endless gratitude and kindness
this time, i successfully laid the foundation seven in hefei nianci taoist temple, which can be said to have fulfilled my long-term wish. i have actually heard of dizang seven for a long time. i have read the senior brother’s diary of the seventh session several times before, and it feels very magical! however, because of insufficient blessings, we can only participate in this national day. even so, i am still very grateful because these seven days have made my body and mind change greatly.
i have been in contact with buddhism for nearly three years, but i have been looking around and looking around. suddenly i feel that a certain post says that a certain method is extraordinary, or a monk praises a certain method, so i will try it and divert my interest. this may also be a common problem for buddhists, especially the so-called intellectuals, who have too much self-knowledge and too much discrimination. because i have not met a good master, i can say that i have no rules and no orders on the road to learning buddhism, and i have become the "great master" mentioned by master yin guang. the "great master" mostly studies buddhism, and only understands buddhism literally, explains buddhism, and argues about buddhism with others. in fact, i have no basis for empirical evidence at all. i mostly talk about the buddhist teachings i have transformed in my delusions or misinterpreted. i also think that i have made rapid progress in my practice, but i don’t know that i have invisibly committed many verbal karma. i’m not sad!
however, ksitigarbha seven did the opposite, without profound theories and thinking, because the realm of buddhas and bodhisattvas is not something that ordinary people can measure! therefore, what ksitigarbha seven needs to do is to return to the essence of buddhism, which is a true empirical education. in the empirical reality, we can truly feel the existence of buddhism. for example, if you pray, one by one, most of us will feel comfortable and full of joy in the last few days. especially when we worship at the end, under the bath of the buddha's light, the cells in our bodies are receiving new, cheerful, and reborn baptisms again and again. the feeling is beautiful, solemn, and even more sacred!
when i chant the buddha's name for an hour at night, i will feel feverish all over my body and sweat will continue to flow out, but i can insist on kneeling and chanting until the end. if this were not for the buddha's blessing, i would not have been able to do it normally. it can be said that during the process of chanting the buddha's name, i am sure that as long as i remember amitabha buddha with respect, amitabha buddha's infinite buddha light will absorb us. this is not what i learned in books. it is what i verified myself, so what i verified is my own. because it is your own perception, you can strengthen your heart of tao and no longer easily retreat.
the six-part plot of ksitigarbha seven is separated on the surface or in sequence, but it is actually a mutually promoting system. its ultimate goal is to allow us to successfully rebirth in the western paradise at the end of our lives. the "six parts" are the most direct practice of the principle of cause and effect, the five precepts and ten virtues. the first five parts are about implementing the basic work of rebirth in the west, eliminating many karmas from the past, and accumulating the merits and resources for rebirth. if we persist in doing this, we can be at peace in this world, and our minds can be undisturbed when we are reborn. why? because the basic work in daily life is done well and the kung fu is done well, we will naturally not be in a hurry when we die.
therefore, through ksitigarbha seven and through my seven-day practice, i concluded that the six psychedes are practice methods that suit our nature and are a special method that we should persist in practicing for life. if you don’t change the topic, go deeper into one subject, and over time, rebirth will be inevitable! because ksitigarbha seven has its irrefutable theoretical basis, it has the profound teachings of buddhas and bodhisattvas in the scriptures, the profound vows of ksitigarbha bodhisattva and amitabha buddha, and it has the basis and support of empirical evidence, so it is not built in the illusory void, but rooted in the solid and heavy earth. therefore, as long as we practice honestly according to this method, it is only a matter of time before and afterwards. there are many outstanding examples among the senior brothers across the country. as long as we practice the six plots diligently, we can also empathize with it, instead of studying buddhism for several years or not knowing our level, let alone being reborn in the western paradise!
in addition, at the nianci temple in hefei, seeing the selfless efforts of the volunteers and the humility and care of the senior brothers, i feel that there is actually a pure land in the world, and this pure land is the temple, because the temple adopts the buddha's perfect education. in the temple, we have learned to care, be polite, compassion, be kind, cherish blessings, repent, correct mistakes, and respect, which are what is really missing in daily life. through this ksitigarbha seven, i know the direction of my journey on the road to learning buddhism, i understand the ultimate meaning of life, and i also understand the way of harmonious coexistence between people. what it changes is my body and mind, so what it changes is also my whole body, just like buddhism itself is harmonious, so the change must be comprehensive!
finally, i would like to sincerely thank the buddhas and bodhisattvas for their compassion and blessings, thank the dragon and heavenly protectors for their careful protection, thank the extraordinary pure land provided by hefei nianci taoist temple, thank all the volunteer brothers in nianci taoist temple for their selfless efforts, and thank the many inspirations given to me by the senior brothers who were working together!
