dharma giving is the first of all giving. it's summer, everyone can do it, the most convenient way to give

it's summer, everyone can do it

the most convenient dharma donation

old monk mengsan

dharma giving is the first of all giving. it is okay to say that i can’t preach or speak the dharma, right? i think every fellow taoist can do it, right?

it’s summer now, insects and ants, and there are all kinds of insects everywhere on the road. when you see it, chant it “amitabha”, which is called dharma giving. don’t have discriminatory minds or attachment minds. when you see all sentient beings, as long as they have spiritual consciousness, you chant it “amitabha”.

we see many fellow practitioners and some sentient beings, "amitabha, amitabha". as soon as it smells this sound, it will plant good roots for it.

this merit is immeasurable, and it cannot be called giving in color, sound and charity. when you are thinking about an ant, do you have any hope? do you still need ants to thank you? no! therefore, at this time, you will not have any mind and will not stay in color and give alms. this is called dharma giving. this dharma giving is much greater than the merit of a material giving. if you give someone something, it will be eliminated at any time, and it will be gone after it is used up; if you tell him a word, he will enjoy it forever.

it is like an ant, mosquito, and even all small creatures. if you recite the buddha to it, it will become a human in the next life. when it smells the benefits of this dharma, it will break away from the animal realm. but don’t take this lightly, and don’t think that sitting here to preach is the dharma giving. you are giving dharma, giving dharma as a gift, giving dharma. this has a wide meaning, a wide meaning. each of our fellow taoists is a monk, and you use the dharma to give to some sentient beings.

we often say that there is no blessing or wisdom, then you practice it! since you do not have blessings, then you cultivate blessings. if you do not have wisdom, you cultivate wisdom.

how to practice the dharma? it is what i said above, benefiting all sentient beings. you chant it with a sentence "amitabha" and "avalokitesvara bodhisattva"; if you can remember a few verses from the sutras, you chant it with a sentence. don’t think it is ignorant. your thought, in its spiritual consciousness, enters its eight consciousnesses, and becomes a seed forever; it will be produced and sprouted. do you understand this meaning?

don’t be stingy with the dharma. you know a lot about all sentient beings. if you can give it a little benefit, it means giving it to others. this is called dharma giving! don’t be obsessed with preaching, it’s not. you advise people to chant “amitabha” and “prajnaparamita” every time.
