  Volume 60 of the Old Huayan Sutra: "Those who rejoice in hearing this Dharma and have no doubt about their faith will quickly attain the supreme path."


  Volume 14 of the Xinhua Yan Sutra: "Faith is the mother of Dao Yuan merit, cultivating all the good laws, and cutting off the network of doubt and the flow of love."


  Nirvana Sutra: "Although the cause of Bodhi is immeasurable, if you say that faith is exhausted."


  From the beginning of Huayan to Nirvana, the focus of Shakyamuni Buddha's diligent persuasion is faith! All afflictions arise from unbelief, so the Sutra says, "Faith destroys afflictions forever." Faith is the foundation of all Bodhi, as mentioned in the Nirvana Sutra.

  The Vimala Sutra says, "Bodhicitta is the Bodhisattva's Pure Land."


  Master Tan Luan's "Commentary" said: "Great compassion is the cause of the Buddha's path."


  He also said, "Great compassion is the birth of goodness, and the Pure Land of Happiness is born from great compassion, so this great compassion is said to be the root of the Pure Land." "Happiness is the result of the bodhisattva's compassionate contemplation, and the result of the divine power and desire." "This supreme bodhichitta is the desire to be a Buddha, and the desire to be a Buddha mind is the mind of saving sentient beings."


  Master Shandao said, "With this merit, I wish to give everything equally, develop bodhichitta together, and live in peace and happiness in my life."


  May this merit be given to all equally: This is the name of the merit, and the mida vows to give all things equally with the merit of the name, the so-called "I am not a great benefactor in immeasurable eons, I will help the poor and the poor, and I will not achieve enlightenment." Therefore, the first two sentences of this line are to say that Mida is famous for all virtues, and Puli is cute!


  Developing bodhicitta together, passing away in peace and happiness: Because of the call of the Buddha, we can receive the absolute guarantee of the name, and we can jointly develop the vajra aspirations, so that we can make a wish to die, and in the so-called greed, hatred, and troubles of sentient beings, we can give birth to a pure and purified mind of rebirth!


  The land of bliss is built by the power of the will, the land of the power of the will, the land of self-reliance, the size of all the saints are common, only the power of the Buddha's will! May the birth of the Pure Land of the Buddha is to follow the Buddha's original wish, this is also Shakya's three exhortations to rebirth in the "Little Sutra", the first cloud of the Heavenly Bodhisattva's "Pure Land Treatise": "May be born in a peaceful and happy country", and the end is also a cloud: "All sentient beings will be reborn in a peaceful and happy country."


The Ann Le Collection (Volume I) says:

  The persuasion of the master and the ancestors is that they are all sincere in their feelings of passing away, so they follow the wishes of the Buddha, Buddhism, and the Buddha's will, and wish to be born in the Pure Land, that is, to be a Buddha, to be a Buddha, to be able to consciously realize him, to be perfect, and to be a Buddha!


 


  "Holding on to the name" is the great bodhichitta


  If you have enough faith and will, you will have a name for yourself, as you say: "If you have three hearts, you can't do anything!" Since the three hearts are sufficient, there is no one who cannot do it.


  Master of Good Guidance:


  "Those who say that there is no one is to return to their destiny, and it is also the meaning of dedication and vow, and those who say Amitabha Buddha are their deeds, and they will be reborn!"


  Conclusion: Believing in the salvation of the Buddha, wishing to be born in the Pure Land of the Buddha, and being called the name of the Buddha, is the supreme bodhichitta!
