why do people become poor? why do they become inferior? the "ksitigarbha sutra" says that if ksitigarbha bodhisattva encounters a thief, he will say that poverty and suffering will be repaid; if i meet someone who i am a tribute, he will say that humbleness will be repaid by the lowly. to sum up, there are five ways that make people go to the consequences of poverty and lowliness.
one is arrogance. speaking of arrogance, this is common to ordinary people; but this kind of arrogance means that you are even arrogant and disrespectful to your parents. some people have been studying buddhism for a long time and find it difficult to persuade their parents to learn buddhism, so they feel disgusted, thinking that they are not the same as themselves, and over time they forget the truth that they have to smile and return after a long time.the second is strength. disrespect to teachers and teachers, and does not have a sincere heart. the teacher teaches him, but he doesn't listen. this is a strong sentient being.the third is to be careless. it’s just that you don’t abide by the rules. it doesn’t count, and you don’t respect the three jewels, so you’re going to be a bitch.the fourth is stealing. because he was happy to steal things in his previous life, he took it as his life. if he had no money, he would steal it, or steal other people's money or jewelry, and sell it if he had it. if you sell it, you can maintain a period of life and do nothing, eat, drink, bet, and smoke every day.
eating means eating; drinking means drinking; prostitute means looking for women; gambling means gambling; smoking means smoking means smoking. if he steals money, he doesn't have to work; if he uses it, he steals it again; if he steals it back, he doesn't have to work anymore, and he just uses stealing to support his life. this is the fourth factor that makes him poor and humble.fifth, liabilities. it means borrowing money from others and avoiding repaying it. as a human being, don’t say too much. even a penny cannot fall into the void, and you cannot borrow it and not repay it. although money is fake, you can't say it. if it is fake, just use it casually. but you have to use it to do real things and you can't be careless at all.for example, if you borrow money from others and don’t pay it back, you will run aside and think it’s a cheap matter. this is not a cheap matter. if you evade debts and don’t repay them, you will become poor and humble in the next life; because if you don’t pay back the money you owed others, you will suffer the consequences of poverty and humble in the future.if there are the above five reasons, when you receive the consequences, you will become a bitch, or be a slave, or a maid, and you will be very unfree. that is, your body is a slave to others. you cannot make decisions at will. you cannot go wherever you want, do whatever you want. you have to obey other people's command.people without virtue are poor and humble. this is because of slandering the three jewels. therefore, if you want to be a noble family, you must be a virtuous person. this is what you cultivate in your previous life and cannot be obtained in this life.manjushri's bravery and wisdom, samantabhadra's wisdom will be the same
i will now dedicate my good roots to all the good roots and practice them according to all the constant practices.
