“the true meaning of conversion is to become a rescuer

many people do not really understand "conversion", or actually misunderstand "conversion". many people feel about "conversion": i am relatively weak and i am a person who needs help, so i need to convert to a powerful person who can help me. in fact, this is not the true meaning of "conversion".

in tibetan, "refuge" means "gazhuo", which has two meanings. "gazhuo" does mean "save the husband", but "zhuo" means "to achieve and achieve". this level of refuge means "i also want to achieve the fruit of saving others."

how to achieve success that can save others? it is to achieve the fruit of buddha. just like the buddha, when he truly reaches the fruit of buddha who can be far away from the samsara and the samsara of nirvana, he can truly become our refuge and the rescuer of sentient beings.

“the true meaning of "refuge" is to become a saver, otherwise we will always misunderstand and always feel that others are always powerful. therefore, we pray to a certain buddha, bodhisattva or god to save me. this is not the true meaning of refuge.

true refuge is to make yourself a powerful saver, to achieve the buddhahood without pain, and to unite with the powerful saver, this is the true refuge.

therefore, you must have a correct understanding of refuge. therefore, when you hear "i want to take refuge in buddha, dharma, and sangha", remember not only taking refuge in external buddha, dharma, and sangha; the deeper level is that you must be able to save yourself and become a buddha, dharma, and sangha!

as the buddhist scriptures say, nothing is more important and more special than saving oneself. but does this mean that there is no external dependency? no, we still need the three jewels of buddha, dharma, sangha and sangha and good teachers.
