缘起 Origin:

近日，翻译组在协作过程中出现了一些小问题，工作效率和参与度都有所下降。问题在哪里？怎么调整？慈法法师就这个话题作了如下开示。感恩翻译组的启教与分享。

Recently the translation group met some cooperation issues, which lagged the working efficiency and involvement degree. What was the source of the issues and how should we make adjustments? Master Cifa gave the following instruction. Thanks to the translation group for bringing this up and sharing with us.

慈法法师开示：

我们工作、生活交织的疲累，需要佛法来指导。在休息、娱乐中工作，在工作中休息、娱乐，本来这个法则就是来教导我们的，所谓歇心菩提，本来工作的目的也是这样的。

We need Buddhas teaching to guide us when we feel tired under the interlaced burdens of life and work. Putting work in rest and fun; having rest and fun in work, this is the teaching to guide us to rest our heart to be enlightened, so is the purpose of working by nature.

那我们工作中为什么会负累呢？尤其是我们翻译佛法的工作，一定是引导我们娱乐、休息、自由的心态与宽松的天地，远离要求、附加或者过分的一些思想的相互挤压。我们在作为的过程中，往往不注意又会形成了这样的一个状态，丢失了佛陀教导我们的真正利益所在。

Why then we felt burdened in working, especially when we were working on translating Buddhas teaching, which is supposed to guide us to entertain, to rest, to free our mind, to broaden our vision, to keep away of the stress on minds of demanding, appending and excessive? When we are working, we tend to casually form this negative status, and consequently lose the real benefit of Buddhas teaching upon us.

那我们翻译工作的发心，就要围绕在休息、娱乐、自由自在的这样一个氛围、环境中，相互之间给予自由、休息、娱乐的支持一个歇心的支持，这样就能在翻译工作中得到佛法的实际利益。

Thus the intention of our translating work should focus on supporting each other in a free, restful, joyful atmosphere and surrounding by being free, having rest, and enjoying ourselves, which is a support in resting our heart, so that we can benefit from Buddhas teaching in our translating work.

工作一定要有娱乐性，要有意乐。佛陀的教法就是让我们不要困在、迷失在事相中，工作过分地严谨、相互过分地要求常常会失去了意乐的根本。我们可以把自己工作认真后的结果或者成果推荐、分享给他人，而不是要求他人认真。这一点很细微，也很关键。

Working is always supposed to be enjoyable and blissful. The Buddhas teaching is to guide us out of the trap of the phenomenon. Excessive rigor and too many demands to each other in work may deprive us of the foundation of our bliss. We can share or recommend the results of our serious work to others rather than asking others to be serious in doing their work. This is a subtle but crucial point.
