caoxi zen's new challenge

bodhidharma passed on a different sect, and went to caoxi to spread to china; during the song dynasty, the country and japan have not yet declined, so it is prosperous! however, since bodhidharma caught caoxi, although the other teachings actually surpassed the teachings, the understanding of other methods must be inseparable from the sutra. cao xi said: how dare i disobey the buddhist scriptures? it is also said: i have spoken in the nirvana sutra, and there is no word or meaning in the scriptures. ......i will say nothing about you. it is also said: those who hold on to emptiness slander the scriptures and speak bluntly without using words. since it is said that there is no use of words, people do not fit in with words, but this words are the appearance of words. it is also said: the straight road does not establish words, and even the two words do not establish words are also written. when he sees what others say, he slanders him and writes his words. you must know that you can still be confused and slander the buddhist scriptures! don’t slander the scriptures, you will be innumerable sins. therefore, bodhidharma and hui can teach and receive lankavatara, and huangmei and cao xihong perform vajra. lankavatara is the heavenly pivot of the wonderful dharma wheel of the mahayana, and the vajra is also the doula of the mahayana vajra. the flood source flows from afar, and it does not change the original taste when you drink it. the snowy mountain and precious forest are as bright as new as it is. whenever i read the inscription of faith, the song of attaining enlightenment, and observe the sutras and treatises of prajna and yoga, i feel that it is melted and unresolved, and it is wonderful and harmonious without trace. however, when the apostles were mixed up with the understanding, the believers also supported jingzhen. ──the four teachings first disrupt prajna, and the five teachings particularly disrupt yoga----the masters below jiangxi and shitou. in order to save their shortcomings, they changed their methods several times: either by indirect attacks to make them realize themselves, or by electric shocks and thunder. however, we must prove ourselves in a timely manner, not to understand words, and to eliminate the wonderful thoughts of words and thoughts, and we will never use the words born of our parents to speak. therefore, it is said: if you can not touch the current taboo, you will be better than the previous dynasty’s talent! although it is easy to use in the situation, it does not lose its teachings outside the teachings, but it should be regarded as a major standard for comprehensively opening the front and the back. nowadays, prajna and yoga are refreshing, so try to sing it in one song.
a caoxi's self-insight
all dharmas are born from emptiness and nature, which is the wheel of mahayana prajna. all dharmas are only the mind, and the mind is illusory and has no nature. this is the wheel of mahayana yoga. breaking the attachment to our dharma, demonstrating the truth of truth and world, developing the wisdom of reason and quantity, and realizing the state of nature and appearance, the theory may be slightly different, but it is no different. when cao xi heard the vajra prajna, he was enlightened and realized this. later, he showed his enlightenment, so the verse reads: bodhi has no tree, because all dharmas are the mind; the mirror is not the platform, because the mind has no nature; there is no object in its original state, so where can dust be generated? because all dharmas are born, and they are empty and have no nature. however, these two chakras still contain the teachings inside and outside the teachings, and there is still a single challenge. on that night, the fifth patriarch used his cassock to cover the diamond sutra, and he should have no place to dwell on his mind, and then he said that he would realize that all things are inseparable from his own nature. so i said: how could i expect my nature to be pure! how could one expect that the nature of one’s nature will not be born or destroyed? how could i expect my nature to be fully possessed! how could i expect my nature to be unshakable! how can we expect all things to be produced by our own performance? the fifth patriarch knows and understands the reality ──just put your heart down ──,he said to cao xi: i don’t know my true nature ──that is, the nature ──,learning the dharma is useless. know your own heart ──the natureless heart ──,see your own nature ──the mind is not natural ──,that is, the husband, the teacher of the buddha. this great world of enlightenment only rejects the wonderful heart of words and thoughts ──trouble, sin ──,where names and predecessors cannot be established. therefore, although the teachings are strongly called the one true dharma realm, it may be said that it is the original true nature of tathagata's storehouse of wonderful true nature, and it is simply said that it is not established, and it is absent from interpretation. this is said that the great enlightenment of words cannot be achieved by words, so it is a different sect outside the teachings. what does this sect mean? if you just use a false statement as an explanation, you will say: there is no nature and the heart is full of wonders. the mind has no nature, so it should have no dwelling; the mind has no nature, so it has no real mind. heart ──this natureless hollowness is what caoxi calls self-nature ──the perfect and wonderful things are originally pure, originally without birth and death, originally complete, originally unshakable, and can produce all dharmas. from this, he summarizes the meaning of enlightenment, and can be summed up in two words: all dharmas are illusory and have no nature. ──all dharmas can also be born with emptiness and nature ──,sexual hollow ──it can also be without the illusion of mind ──the heart is round and the wonderful. the meaning of the three gates of later generations is nothing more than that. all dharmas are born from the causes of emptiness, which is one. all dharmas are the mind, but the mind is like an illusion, which is two. the wonderful mind without nature is all dharmas, which are the three. the wonderful mind of the nature is all dharmas, so i can lift it at will to nirvana ──this is empty and has no nature ──the wonderful heart is clear! however, this is not something that can be reached by the false interpretation of wisdom, so it is said to be teaching. ──bizhi false interpretation ──a different story.
second caoxi's enlightenment
when cao xi preached and understood others, they all flowed from the realm of self-understanding. however, in the realm of great enlightenment, one must understand itself, so what he said is not to be empty and has two wheels within the teachings. to talk about emptiness and breaking into existence, to talk about existence and breaking into emptiness, to eliminate evil and develop righteous wisdom. the intention is outside the teaching, and the words are not separated from the teaching. this is where caoxi zen comes from. from this, the outline of the teachings is that all things are born from the mind, and they are empty and have no nature. ──it is not that the wind and banners move, but the heart of the benevolent is moved, and the heart of the law is born. buddha nature is impermanent, all dharmas are permanent, and emptiness is also without nature ──,the vulgarity is true and the vulgarity is gone. the purpose beyond his words is to make people feel satisfied by insisting on losing their will. therefore, cao xi once called his disciple fahai and others and said: you are different from others. after i died, i will teach you how to preach the dharma and not lose the original sect. ──case: the platform sutra: however, we must teach you to silently spread and pay from the above, and we must not hide the dharma. if you see that you are not allowed to pass on the other laws in different ways, it will be of no use to harm your predecessors. i am afraid that fools will not understand and slander this law. as mentioned, the same view and walk together, and that one can become a teacher in one place; the following is to ask them to understand the teachings of other preachings, so that they can not lose their original sect. in later generations, the evil demons and heretics secretly became the basis for the sixth patriarch not to pass on, which is very wrong. ──。first, we will take the three methods and use thirty-six pairs. we will leave both sides when we appear and leave them, and we will say that all dharmas are inseparable from their own nature. suddenly someone asked you about the dharma, and they all said that they were both correct. they were related to each other, and they all eliminated the ultimate dharma, and there was no place to go. ──case: this is the key to the teachings of his disciples who entered the house in caoxi, which is like the cave where there are gan tongqi and treasure mirror samadhi. those who do not know the secret scriptures are to protect different views and follow different practices in other laws, and are afraid that they will be punished by slandering the dharma, and will be obstructed from enlightenment. there is no other meaning.
this is what is mentioned from the beginning, and the ancestors have explained it. today's case: use the opposite method, speak two words, that is, leave the two sides, come and go, and then move to have two wheels to destroy the two views of emptiness. the ultimate two methods ──relative laws such as emptiness and existence, true and vulgarity ──to eliminate everything, to eliminate everything is a false interpretation of the teaching. say all the laws ──thirty-six dharmas, including the five confucians, twelve entry, eighteen realms, etc. ──inseparable from one's own nature, inseparable from one's own mind is the wonderful heart outside the teachings ──it refers to all dharmas that are free from their own nature. in prajna and yoga sutras, the key points are all referenced. therefore, cao xi is the one who truly understands the teachings and is able to preach the dharma! it is also said: if someone asks you the meaning, asks you whether you have any or not, asks you about the same thing, asks you about the same thing, asks you about the same thing, asks you about the same thing, and asks you about the same thing, and the two paths are related to each other, and the meaning of the middle way is born. it is a complete ambition to say that nirvana is always impermanent. it is also said that god will say that it is invisible and painful. there is a trick against wa lun: huineng has no tricks. he stayed in mind and watched quiet for a long time and said: this is a disease, not a zen, so what is the benefit of restraining one's body? when you know the emptiness, you know the truth and see it: if you don’t see a law, there is no sight, it is like floating clouds covering the sun; if you don’t know the law, you will still be like lightning in the vast void. rebirth in the west: the west is only in the present ──the ten thousand billion buddha lands are 108,000 miles away. this is because i do not observe the scriptures and do not understand the meaning of the scriptures. ──。this is the wonderful thing about untiing the bondage and removing sticking from people, pulling nails and pulling wedges, like the so-called "suma before the horse" and stopping! lively, red and scattered, open and unpretentious, there are some people who are indescribable to describe it! he said: i have something that has no head or tail, no name or word, no back or face. do you ask if you still know it? only then was god called the original buddha nature, that is, he became a disciple of knowledge and understanding. it is said that although all dharmas are not separated from this, this cannot be expressed in the end. the gods learned the original buddha nature of the name, thinking that false wisdom and false interpretation can be obtained, so they were trapped in the understanding of names and mutual understanding, and lost the teachings outside the teachings. this is the same as the knowledgeable and understanding scholars of xianshou and others who use various beautiful words to describe the true dharma realm of painting, saying that they transcend the ancestors of the ancestors, who can speak what nagarjuna and vast-honored ancestors cannot say, and are also abusive! little do we know that the ancestors cannot speak! it is especially true that reality is beyond words and thought. although various descriptions of painting are composed of more and more important things than the shadow of thought and the door to enlightenment, cao xi praised it. cao xi was strongly praising it, so even though there were shenhui and other disciples, the sect style was still smooth. ci'en is equivalent to knowing that the disciples of the knowledge and understanding did not forcefully scold them, so the four and five religions prospered, and jiaxiang and ci'en's teachings stopped. the coolness is drawn and transformed, and the mud is already deep. guifeng was also a disciple of zhijie as a disciple of zhijie. the descendants of the sect inherited caoxi feng, and the sect was able to repel it, so the sect became more prosperous. but the coolness at guifeng cannot be ignored, so the teachings are even more obscure. later, yongming followed suit and corrected the situation, and the deterioration became worse. all the apostles and believers have no knowledge and understanding, and do not expect to be separated from words and enlightened, and have been famous for their famous appearance. the second and third true zen is the only way to use steep or intercepting as the method, and make sure to take the knowledge and understanding of the fallen body as a matter to extend the teachings outside the teachings. therefore, those who fall into knowledge and understanding will not only lose their sect but also lose their teachings. if cao xi’s teachings understand him, he will not only gain the sect but also gain the teachings. a lay buddhist asked yunmen and said: i don’t ask about the teachings of the three canons and twelve divisions. what is the intention of the ancestors coming to the west? question: let’s put the mind of the ancestors, what is your teaching mind? the scholar was at a loss and shouted at him. therefore, those who teach in hongzong should learn from cao xi to understand him to understand the wonderful teachings of the buddha.
the self-nature of sancaoxi
in cao xi's explanation and teachings, if the verses and long-term movements are spoken, the thirty-six pairs of the three subjects of the dharma are also common sentences. the most important thing is the only one in one’s own nature. in his self-narration and teaching, if he does not understand what his own nature refers to, it will be difficult to understand. in his self-narration, he realized that his own nature is pure, and in his teachings, he taught that all dharmas are inseparable from his own nature, and that he must know the name of his own nature, and that he has a destiny. fortunately, cao xi once explained: his own performance contains all kinds of things, and his name contains consciousness. ──this refers to the eighth consciousness ──;if you think about it, you will change your consciousness ──this refers to the seventh manas. most of the mind is transformed into consciousness, as it is said: the mind is the earth, and nature is king; nature exists in the mind, and nature removes the mind from destruction. nature refers to the different familiar consciousness of the master of one retribution, and the mind refers to the first seven ──the six consciousnesses are born, the six senses are gone, and the six dusts are seen. all the eighteen realms of this are based on their own nature ──refers to hidden consciousness ──use ──the eighteen realms are manifested from the seeds of the eighteen realms hidden in the consciousness of the sacred consciousness, which is the previous sixteen three things that do not appear and use. it is rough and quiet but still moving, and it is the body, and it is sensible and it is the function of function; it is also like the doctrine of the mean that it is not released as the middle, and it is the harmony of the middle. according to the meaning of consciousness-only theory, this view is still absurd and false, because the different knowledge is not true silence. ──。if one's nature is evil, one will have eighteen evils ──the defilement and different familiar consciousness arises and manifests itself in the form of defilement; if the self-nature is right, the eighteen right forms arise. ──no leakage, no impurity, no leakage, no leakage, no leakage, no leakage, no leakage, no leakage; if evil use is used, it is used by sentient beings, good use is used by buddha ──from this, all kinds of realms and nirvana are attained ──。what is the use, and it is from the nature of one's own nature ──the realm of origin in time and all dharmas are based on ──。based on this, cao xi truly refers to the eighth consciousness, namely the self-nature, which is clear! his chant of the four wisdoms also says: the great mirror is pure in wisdom, and the equal wisdom is free from illness. this is also the eighth person named nature and the seventh person named mind. self-nature ──eighth ──if pure, it is the great mirror wisdom. self-heart ──seventh ──if there is no disease, it is equal wisdom. however, the nominal dispute between the eighth consciousness is quite difficult to resolve. it is commonly known as all kinds of consciousness, some are called adena consciousness, some are called original consciousness, some are called correct mind. in the position of leakage, some are called alaya consciousness, some are called the realm and life body, some are called the different familiar consciousness; in the position of leakage, some are called the amora consciousness, some are called the great mirror wisdom, some are called the true buddha body. the middle finger of the unobstructed realm is called tathagatagarbha, which is also called buddha nature. using false wisdom to point to the realm of absolute words and thoughts is called the realm of true dharma, also called the realm of true nature ──the true nature is one, and the sutras and treatises mostly refer to the two principles of obstructing emptiness. however, the truth is said: only one mind is called true nature. it also talks about the true nature and the true nature's function. the shurangama sutra also says: it is the wonderful true nature of the tathagatagarbha. cao xi also said that the true nature of the self is the true buddha and said that the true nature is the use of the true nature. these true natures are always the same as those referring to the one true dharma realm or tathagatagarbha, not only two empty principles. ──。cao xi also understands these many meanings when talking about his own nature. it means that one's nature is originally pure, etc., which refers to the tathagatagarbha or the one true dharma realm. it means that the eighteen evil and righteousness arise from the nature of one's own evil and righteousness, which refers to the different familiar consciousness, alaya consciousness, amura consciousness, or all kinds of consciousness. the mysterious and profound name is as great as this, no wonder the true nature of the faith theory is the argument that has been passed down for a long time! zen buddhism understands the original zen and the master zen. although it is understood from the dharma realm, it is still alaya and mixed consciousness in the different birth position. the first six moments do not arise, and the manas i love and attachment appear temporarily. if you stick to reality, even if you understand the mind, you will not realize the nature of the mind, or you may enter the heretics. to understand the illusion and non-nature, to take the emptiness of non-nature, to understand the end, or to return to the two vehicles. to realize that the mind source without nature contains all things, it is perfect. therefore, it is said that adana's consciousness is very profound and meticulous, and all seeds are like waterfalls. i will not start to perform the ordinary and foolish, and i am afraid that they will distinguish themselves as me. ──holding as self is to hold as nature, and self is to be nature meaning. if you have not realized the nature, you have entered the heretics. ──。however, if you want to seek sudden enlightenment in the ordinary position, there is no other true body except enlightenment. therefore, the great buddha said that he is afraid that he is confused about the truth and is not true; if he is confused about the truth and wants to seek the truth, there is no truth to obtain in the end. alas! this shows how great it is to cao xi’s own nature is!
however, the self-nature should specifically refer to all dharmas and the self-nature. if cao xi said that it is hidden consciousness, it is better to use it as a common name, name it as one mind, or name it as one mind. therefore, i have taken the initiative of yongming as one mind as the foundation, and reflect all things like a mirror.
tang guifeng regarded yoga as the dharma-essence school and prajna as the breaking of the fa-essence school. he regarded himself as the dharma-essence school, which was called the one vehicle exposed nature teaching. the true mind of sentient beings and original enlightenment is called tathagatagarbha, also known as buddha nature. this is also the name of the tathagatagarbha, and it is better to name the true heart. however, he does not escape from knowledge and understanding, does not understand all dharmas and speaks of their own nature, and interprets the source of zen. he once said: the mind is its name, knowledge is its body, and one word is its name, and it is the door to all wonders. i thought that by raising the word "knowledge", i could get the mind. the sects criticized it and said: "a word "knowledge" is the gate of many disasters!" ming yongjuexian used the true mind to possess the two meanings of emptiness and spiritual knowledge, and supplemented it by emptiness and silence, which means that guifeng takes knowledge and leave emptiness and silence, and cannot understand the true mind. now note: empty and silence means no nature, and emptiness and silence means no nature mind. that is, if the mind does not realize the lack of nature, it becomes false attachment; if the false mind realizes the lack of nature, it is in line with the true nature. therefore, emptiness and silence are the true mind. they hold that knowledge is the body of the mind, and do not realize that the mind has no nature, so how can they understand the mind without nature! therefore, what later generations of masters called their own nature in caoxi was also noted. but this is what you say, and this trick is to show it, and it is true that it is like a one that won’t win!
