tips for the sea of treasures
preface
in the current century, both economic and scientific have made great progress, and productivity and living standards have surpassed unprecedentedly. information has rapidly expanded and even exploded, and people have generally lived a relatively wealthy life. in this era when material development is rampant, people's inner troubles and pain are becoming increasingly deeper and more serious, and their spirits are extremely empty and decadent. the reason is that people lack cognition of all happiness and wisdom - the source of the mind. the most distinctive and perfect and thorough way to learn buddhism is to recognize and transform the inner world, and the most powerful and effective way to achieve the ultimate liberation and happiness in subduing the troubles of sentient beings is the only way to achieve the ultimate liberation and happiness.
the true buddhist teachings are listening, thinking and practicing. as the ancient thousands of treatises on the treatise of vasubandhu once said: "there are two types of buddha's dharma, which means that the teachings and proofs are the essence. those who practice teachings and practice will live in the world." but now looking around in the universe, there are very few people with knowledge who have valued this. most buddhist disciples do not understand that listening, thinking and practicing are the only way to continue the buddha's wisdom life. they are keen on burning incense and kowtowing, and abandon the profound meaning of buddhism like a broom, and admire the buddha and become a superficial form.
as for some people who are destined to achieve the goal of escaping life and death through learning buddhism, they will meet the buddha's secret meaning and establish the buddha's knowledge and views, and have no other way to receive the profound meaning except to master the teachings. those blind practitioners who do not have the right view of listening and thinking are not only at a loss for the light of buddhism, but also easily fall into the dark abyss and cannot extricate themselves. it really makes me feel pity for the buddha to see it, and from ancient times to the present, the eminent monks and great masters are filled with tears of grief.
2000year is the third year of the four-year dharma-distribution plan formulated by dharma king ruyibao jinmei pengcuo for himself (the first year is to initiate the renunciation and determine the content of cause and effect. the second year is to develop the mahayana "entering the path of practice" in the mahayana aspect of the bodhicitta, the third year is to the general tantra "the sea of treasures", and the fourth year is to the supreme great perfection. ),at the beginning of this year, the dharma king ruyibao first taught mipham rinpoche's teachings, and at the same time, khenpo sodakhi rinpoche worked hard to perform synchronous translations.
during the period of listening to the dharma, we all had a special feeling, that every vajra word spoken by the master seemed to have extraordinary and extraordinary significance for our hearts. however, because of the poor roots of our sentient beings in the dharma-ending age, we could not completely remember them, and felt extremely regretful in our hearts. in addition, in order to have great faith in our master in the han area and have no chance to come to the college to listen to french, the vast majority of believers who have great faith in our masters and have no chance to listen to french in person can have a chance to fulfill their wishes; in the end, it is also to benefit future generations who have the faith and destiny. with these three purposes, we have made a wish to record all the simultaneous translations of khenpo rinpoche as a tape record, and simply proofread them and put them into words. at the same time, our teacher khenpo rinpoche also personally reviewed and finalized them word by word.
in order to obtain the special blessings of the dharma king vajra and to make it easier for the disciples to remember the sounds and appearances of the master when he was preaching the dharma in the future, we still remained the same for some vernacular oral characteristics and special sentences without any changes. there are almost no additions or deletions in all the texts. therefore, during the recording process, we have worked hard to be faithful to the teachings of the dharma king without mixing our own discriminatory thoughts. in this way, disciples with destiny who have heard this teaching in front of the master can testify.
among the three teachings: "awakening and dreaming debate", "old mantra and moon boy" and "secret tips", in order to facilitate reading, we have made a rough distinction between the teachings and teachings preached by the dharma king. (the teaching part is enclosed in brackets ),apart from this, there is no distinction in other places, because the two are almost one.
except for the titles of the above three teachings that quote the titles of mipham rinpoche's original text, the others are formulated based on the combination of the original title and the dharma king's lecture. therefore, each title only serves as a mark, and it cannot cover all-encompassing content, because the vast and vast sea contains various rare treasures, and each paragraph has a profound connotation and meaning. therefore, we can only obtain the secret treasures in this sea through faith and diligence.
finally, i hope that all those who see, hear, remember and touch this teaching will temporarily obtain the fruit of human and heaven, and ultimately achieve the perfect buddhahood and save all sentient beings in the world!

in the vast and endless sea-like cycle, it is extremely rare to be able to be reincarnated and reincarnated to obtain a human body, just like the earth on the claws compared to the dust of the earth. the buddhist scriptures say: "the human body is hard to obtain, but the buddhist dharma is hard to hear." especially in today's complex and complicated world, most people have wasted their precious lives in meaningless worldly trivial matters, and there are very few people who can subdue their own minds according to buddhism. it is really difficult to obtain the treasure of the human body, but not waste your time and study and study buddhism. for this reason, every good man and woman who have the opportunity to participate in the study today should have an incomparable joy.
respect and wisdom are very important when learning buddhism. because without respect, the vajra words of the buddha and the great monks will not be taken seriously. in this way, no matter how special the dharma is, no matter how special the dharma is, it is impossible to obtain any dharma benefits; without the wisdom of careful and repeated observation, in this way, you will not be able to obtain true and correct understanding of the profound dharma. therefore, when all those who are destined to enjoy the extraordinary and wonderful taste of buddhism by relying on respect and wisdom, they can thus receive the benefits of the dharma and establish knowledge and views. this is a true practitioner.
we should not be transformed by the material world outside, but should seek true happiness, peace and wisdom in our hearts. in order to eliminate the poverty of ignorance and troubles in their hearts, all those who are destined to receive the treasures of the sea of exoteric and secret secrets.
